Our Mission
Our program is designed around the basic goal of providing girls ages 15-21 who have been abused and/or neglected with highly structured, yet nurturing environment services intended to meet their psychological, educational, social, spiritual, physical, and vocational needs. In doing so, we will provide an atmosphere where our youth will be loved, valued, respected, accepted, encouraged, and assisted to mature and grow to reach their maximum potential.

Our Agency
Hampton Transitional Academy is a non-profit corporation run by its founder, Ms. Marylee Hampton, that was started in 2019. It aims to prepare its residents to excel as young leaders of tomorrow by combining an exclusive curriculum tailored specifically for children that are aging out of foster care (15 to 21). We emphasize basic life skills development to assist aging-out foster care youth with a foundation of essential life skills that is sustainable, relevant, adaptable, and expandable.
Meet Our Founder
Ms. Hampton has years of experience in the foster care of therapeutic children. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a Certificate in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship. She also holds a certificate in Childhood Development. Ms. Hampton is supported in daily operations by an administration and staff that has the children’s best interests in mind and has worked with foster care for years.
